What you'll be doing:

• Providing various management reports, including clarity reporting (US GAAP), calculation of deferred tax US GAAP, and distribution margin analysis and tax package preparation.
• Supervising and guiding your team (of ⚠) in general accounting obligations, such as monitoring cash and bank transactions, overseeing purchase and sales accounting, and general ledger accounting.
• Assisting the Financial Director with tax advice, preparation and support during tax audits for VAT, corporate tax, social security, and withholding tax, as well as assuming certain responsibilities of the Financial Director.
• Submitting tax returns (direct and indirect taxes) and various reports, including preparing statutory financial statements, VAT returns, annual customer lists, monthly intra-community lists, handling disputes and requests for information, preparing various surveys and reports on transfer pricing, and monitoring various statistical obligations.
• Performing various accounting transactions and controls, such as creating manual sales invoices, monitoring the Lease query tool, preparing and monitoring annual inventory checks, supporting internal and external SOX audits, creating domain-specific work instructions, monitoring tax legislation, and performing various accounting transactions and controls.

• Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• At least ⚠ years' experience in accounting and tax-related roles
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and tax legislation
• Familiarity with US GAAP
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Strong understanding of internal procedures and safety regulations
• People management experience
