Based in Oudenaarde (East Flanders), OIP Sensor Systems develops specialised electro-optical products for defense and space applications. Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Data Management: Control and import operational hours into SharePoint, and process these in Microsoft Dynamics NAV for both engineering and production departments.
• Financial Processing and Bookkeeping: Handle the booking of operational hours, logistic orders, and financial postings in NAV, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
• Work in Progress (WIP) Management: Process provisions, analyze margins, manage unbilled revenues, and regularly update financial documentation related to WIP.
• Financial Reconciliations and Reporting: Perform monthly and quarterly financial reconciliations, prepare financial statements for internal and external use, and manage regular US GAAP bookings for POC programs.
• Sales and Backlog Reconciliation: Reconcile sales files with NAV open orders and update project management and backlog reports to ensure current data.
• Quarterly and Yearly Financial Operations: Engage in IC reconciliations, US GAAP reporting
• System Administration: Assist in managing SharePoint and NAV settings for new fiscal periods, including updates on time reporting periods and creation of new resources and internal programs.
• Support to Program Management Office: prepare capacity data for follow-up meetings

• Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Proven experience with an ERP-package and SharePoint.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data management and financial analysis.
