Analytical Accountant

We are actively looking for an Analytical Accountant for one of our clients active in the fashion industry and located in East Flanders.

This Belgian family company quickly become one of the top fashion retailer in Flanders. With over 60 infrastructures in Belgium, our client can count on the loyalty and hard work of over 350 collaborators. Victim of their own success, our partner is fast-growing and is often called upon to make buyouts.

As part of this growth, the company's CFO is ambitious and would like to take it up a notch in their financial performances by bringing a more analytical vision to the finance and accounting.

As Analytical Accountant, this would be your responsibility! You will act as the back-up of the accounting team and you will manage analytical projects from A to Z. The CFO is ready to take you under his wing and help you develop your potential.

• Setting up a financial business plan
• Implementing financial reporting and follow-up procedures for the different activities
• Analyzing the financial status of suppliers
• Participating in the digitalization of the company
• Acting as a back-up for all operational tasks

• You have at least 3 years of experience in General Accounting
• You are Dutch-speaking. Since our client has partnerships all over the world, a good practice of English is appreciated!
• You are comfortable with IT tools. You perceive these platforms as opportunities to improve the speed and efficiency of procedures
• You enjoy having a polyvalent position mixing operational and analytical tasks. The ideal candidate is a generalist, not a specialist!
• You are communicative and able to provide financial information and expertise to the management using the most suitable vocabulary and assertiveness
