AZ Accountant


We are actively looking for a AZ Accountant for one our clients active in the IT industry and located in Brussels.

As AZ Accountant, you will replace the current General Accountant who's retiring. The transition will be seamlessly managed by this person, and you will assume responsibility for the complete accounting of this subsidiary.

Our partner has many projects in mind when it comes to accountancy. As a significant IT player, our client places high importance on the digitization of procedures and continual improvement of daily tools. Therefore, your motivation, openness to change, and willingness to take initiatives will be crucial as you embark on this journey.

  • Work closely to an External Chartered Accountant and provide all the information needed as well as monthly reportings
  • Participation in the implementation of a new ERP and the digitalization of procedures
  • Booking of sales & purchases invoices
  • Deal with bank statements and processing to banking transactions
  • Preparation of payments and ensure payments follow-ups
  • Preparation of closings
  • VAT & Tax declarations

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounting. A first experience in a fiduciary is a big plus!
  • You speak French or Dutch and have a good proficiency of English
  • Open to changes, you even take initiatives and suggest ideas to improve ways of working
  • You are able to work autonomously and you are very organized in your daily work
