General Accountant (Prestigious Consultancy Firm)

Our client is a leading global company offering Consulting Services in Strategy. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to their customers worldwide. As they continue to make their team grow, they are searching for a new General Accountant.

Your main responsibilities as a General Accounting will include:

• Controlling & booking of purchase and sales invoices, intercompany invoices, expense notes, banks statements
• Create the weekly payments
• In charge of the weekly liquidity forecast
• Monthly and Yearly Closing (Booking of monthly Journal Entry Vouchers, Accounts reconciliations
• Support the F&C manager with monthly and yearly closing
• Support the auditors during audit week
• Working capital optimization (Follow up account payables and perform weekly dunning actions towards clients)
• Project administration (creation of project codes, follow-up on accuracy of data….), controlling and intercompany billing follow-up.
• Accounting and cost allocation of all customer project related services.
• Control of alignment between staffing of consultants and cost allocation in the financial systems and management of potential gaps.
• Support to the Finance manager and the management team in reporting and ad-hoc analyses.
• Collaboration in the further development and optimization of controlling processes leveraging our new IT platform (SCALE UP) covering lead to cash processes.

Your profile as a General Accounting:

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in accounting & fiscality, economics, or similar
• First practical experience (4-5 years) in the Finance function (experience in Controlling is a plus)
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and a result-oriented way of working
• Can work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong service and customer orientation as well as team spirit
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel), experiences in Power BI and SAP are a plus.
• Fluent NL or FR and very good English skills, both written and spoken.
