For our client, Robert Half is looking for a Financial Controller (m/f/x) for a permanent contract in Luxembourg.

With 150 employees in Luxembourg, our client operates in 3 territories: France, Belgium and Luxembourg in supporting their customers in their electricity network construction and renovation projects, from design studies to the installation of pylons and substations.

In your role of Financial Controller, your responsibilities are:

• Monitor and report financially on the projects of the operational departments
• Helping to draw up the annual budget and monthly forecasts
• Take charge of profitability analyses (anticipate deviations and define corrective action)
• Understand the operational risks of projects (transcription into financial analysis of profitability variances in relation to the forecast and the budget)
• Carrying out ad hoc studies to assist decision-making
• Optimising procedures and cost management

For this position, your qualifications will be:

• Master/Bac+5 in Business with a specialisation in Finance/Management and management control
• You have a good accounting culture and good data analysis skills
• You have a good command of standard IT tools (Excel, databases, etc.)
• Your proficiency in English extends to reading, speaking, and writing, with an additional capability in written German
• You are autonomous with the ability to anticipate and be proactive
