Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting an IT Systems Engineer to join our client in Ghent.

Our client is a production company.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

• Implement projects of medium to large complexity in ICT infrastructure and/or ICT security;
• Manage and deliver operational support to the companies Active Directory environment (Currently consisting out of ca 30 Domain controllers);
• Documenting, testing and implementation of the recovery plan;
• Participate in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Active Directory environment. (Install new server versions, security patching, …);
• Assure IT asset configuration and change management is practice, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information;
• Configure and support the VMware landscape;
• Respond to emergency IT Infrastructure outages (Active Directory, LAN, … VMware related) in an accurate and professional way;
• Monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• Master/Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related field;
• 5+ years of experience in different aspects of ICT Infrastructure;
• Expert Experience in W AD (Microsoft MCSE Server Infrastructure certification is an advantage) and/or Expert Experience in managing and supporting VMware farms;
• Familiar with security tools including vulnerability tools, Identity Management, Network Access Solutions.
