Business Controller

We are actively looking for a Business Controller for one of our clients active in the wholesale industry and located in Flemish Brabant.

This company was created in 2005 and has quickly worked her way up to become an international wholesaler in its component market. At a Belgian-scale, the company kept a SME atmosphere. You will join a human-oriented structure, with a flat hierarchy where people are accessible, attentive and caring.

Our client would like to anticipate its future needs. The current CFO will retire in a couple of years, leaving you the possibility to familiarize yourself with the business and to aspire to this position in a few years.

As Business Controller, you will become the sparring partner of the CFO and you will have an important role to play in the process improvement of the existing procedures and the implementation of new ways of working/tools.

• Presentation of results, analysis and plans to the management
• Conduct ad hoc analysis depending on the demand
• Support monthly closing activities
• Reporting to the Group
• Prepare budget and forecasts
• Manage the planning of the cash flow
• Projects: lead improvement and development of controlling processes and tools (fast-close processes, implement a BI tool, improve reporting procedures, …)

• Degree in Finance, Economics or Management
• At least 3 years of experience in Business Controlling
• You speak French and/or Dutch and have an excellent proficiency of English
• You are known for being an initiative-taker. You always come up with new ideas to improve ways of working
• When it comes to work, you are implicated and reliable
• You are proactive and have great time management skills
