V&S Partners is currently recruiting a Consolidation & Reporting Analyst.

Our client is a gas energy provider.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

• Prepare the consolidation process for the Group by setting up the consolidation system, reviewing reported figures and uploading them in the software.
• As part of the consolidation process for the Group, managing intercompany reconciliation.
• Preparation of the primary statements and different disclosures of the half-year and annual report for the Group.
• Assistance and support in ad hoc finance projects (continuous improvement) e.g. pushing down and training of IFRS adjustments to local teams, drafting accounting papers and policies, implementing a disclosure management tool, IFRS ⚠ tool and improved reporting process.
• Supporting the Group and local accounting teams with preparation and review of statutory accounts.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• Master in Applied Economics or equivalent ⚠ to ⚠ years of experience in a finance position.
• You are able to perform a first analysis of IFRS accounting and consolidation topics and propose solutions.
• Interest and some experience in consolidation, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Belgian General Accepted Accounting Principles, closing and controlling principles.
• Basic knowledge of corporate tax and corporate law.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.
