Senior GL Accountant

We are actively looking for a Senior GL Accountant for one of our clients, an international consultancy and located near Brussels, in the Flemish Brabant.

This vacancy doesn't concern the consultancy activities of our client's. You will become a member of the structure's internal accounting team. As Senior GL Accountant, you will become the right-hand of the Accounting Manager and you will become a reliable support for the team. Your function will be fully analytical and will integrate some controlling tasks too.

• Control AP/AR bookings
• Manage the P&L for multiple Business Units
• Establish in closing procedures
• In charge of managing the yearly closing
• Prepare audits and be the first point of contact for external auditors
• Create monthly reporting for the management
• Participate in the improvement and optimization of internal procedures

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience in general accounting
• You speak English fluently. Dutch and/or French is your first language
• Motivated and resilient, you are ready to take over any challenges
• Your communication skills allow you to easily work within a team
