Robert Half is currently recruiting a Junior Business Analyst for a consultancy company.

Our client is an international company founded in the UK and has offices in Antwerp.

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst with relevant experience in controlling or audit. You are willing to join a team of other senior finance processionals, based in Belgium. In a couple of months, you will quickly evolve into a Finance Business Partner for multiple companies looking at cost reduction/ structure of logistics and fleet processes.

This role will be very diverse, each day will be different, and we need you to be able to cope with this ever-changing environment. You will work with senior professionals and with our clients and as such need strong communication skills, need to be proactive and willing to get things done. In return, we will guide through your learning curve.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

Must haves:

• A genuine interest in how business and finance come together;
• Master in Finance or similar;
• First experience of 2-3 years in controlling or audit;
• Stronganalytical mind with the ability to make analyses, budgets and forecasts, while being able to present these in a correct, concise way to the management and board of our clients;
• Time management skills: able to work on multiple assignments for multiple clients, while maintaining accuracy against tight timeliness;
• Pro-active mindset;
• Common sense, likes to take initiative, entrepreneurial.

Nice to haves:

• Flexibility;
• Proficient skills in writing and able to express yourself clearly in Dutch and English.
• Ability to work with the newest systems and processes. Our clients change constantly and so do we. You need to be able to learn fast and try out new things;
• MS Office has no secrets for you. Advanced skills in Excel are required.

In the beginning of your employment, you will participate in a training course in Kent, UK. You will be part of a small team in Belgium but will also have contacts with colleagues abroad.
