As a Financial Accountant, you will be a valued member of the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Finance Director. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization, handling general accounting, and ensuring compliance with both USGAAP and BEGAAP

Your main responsibilities as Financial Accountant will include:

• Supervising all accounting processes, including preparing documents for processing by shared services and reviewing accruals to ensure compliance.
• Overseeing tax processes such as VAT declarations, income tax declarations, and transfer pricing calculations.
• Supporting the Finance Director during month-end processes by reviewing actual costs and preparing reconciliations.
• Providing finance support and ad-hoc training to staff and ensuring a smooth transition to new ERP software.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and procedures.

Your profile as a Financial Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP, VAT, and fiscal regulations.
• Experience in accounting/financial management, preferably in the service industry.
• Fluent in English and French with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
