DIRECTOR

Our client is an international chemical company delivering products and technical solutions across many different sectors. Present globally, it plays an important role in helping other industries reaching their manufacturing goals and controlling their CO⚠ emissions. Further to an internal promotion, our client is now looking to hire a GROUP TAX DIRECTOR.


THE MISSION :

Based in Louvain-La-Neuve, the Group Tax Director will drive the development and lead the implementation of the group's tax strategies in order to optimize the Company's global effective and cash tax rates. He/She will report to the Group Chief Financial Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Manage or supervise:

    • Analyze Tax situation
    • Forster creative ideas to favor efficient ETR management
    • Tax compliance transfer pricing policy and related documentation.
    • Company compliance with all relevant international and local tax laws and regulations (BEPS, CBCR, CFC, DAC⚠, Pillar⚠…).
    • The assessment of the tax implications of the group's activities, projects and investments including acquisitions and dispositions.
    • Projects to optimize the tax position of the group.
    • The worldwide tax reporting to allow tax attributes management.
    • Proper tax accounting for affiliates
    • Support to income tax returns compliance, tax audits and disputes
    • Org. Chart of participations management

Advise the senior management on tax matters and potential impact of current band future laws and regulations

Experience and hard skills

  • Candidate must possess at least a master degree in business finance, economics, finance and administration
  • At least ⚠ years of financial management background
  • At least ⚠years of working experience in finance in an industry
  • Experience in treasury management is a plus
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Experience with US tax regime is a plus
  • Experience in financing, financial securities, international finance, regulatory requirements, business analysis and valuation.
  • Statistical, mathematical and financial statement analysis skills.
  • Master's in international Tax
