We are looking for a skilled Data Specialist who will support our teams by turning company data into valuable information. Your role goes beyond merely providing data, you are also skilled in the technology supporting it.

As a data specialist, you are responsible of the entire data lifecycle (A-Z): from understanding and capturing large data sets in a complex data landscape to full-fletched BI dashboards for all levels within the organization, that can drive tangible business results.

You maintain good relationships and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, functional teams, project/process management and application managers in an international environment.

Your passion lies in discovering solutions hidden within large data sets, linking information scattered across the organization and applications, and optimizing information presentation to improve business outcomes.

As Data Specialist you will be part of the Digitalization and Performance Improvement 🔗 function is not limited to Ostend and can be performed from any European NHV base.

Jouw profiel

• Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Experience MuleSoft integrations is an asset
• Experience working with and creating data architectures
• Proven experience (>⚠ years) as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
• Experience in data mining
• Experience using business intelligence tools and data frameworks

• De informatica-infrastructuur selecteren of installeren (software, hardware, ...)
• Technische beheerprocedures, gebruiks- en veiligheidsprocedures van de informatica infrastructuur opstellen
• Een systeem beheren: Systeem voor databankbeheer
• De configuratie en architectuur van de informatiesystemen opvolgen en bijwerken naargelang de ontwikkelingen
• Prestaties van het informatiesysteem analyseren
  Maatregelen voorstellen voor de verbetering van de kwaliteit, de veiligheid en de productiviteit
• Scripts opstellen of integreren
• Ontwikkelingsteams, informaticaproductieteams of gebruikers adviseren en bijstaan bij de keuze en toepassing van technische oplossingen
