A new job as Credit Officer has just become available at our client located in the Center of Brussels. You will be a key actor within the team by assisting the Credit Manager for the daily operations of the risk management in the affiliates.

Main Tasks as Credit Officer :

• Control on a daily basis the alerts mails and the consumption of customers, if consumption approaches or exceeds the credit limit, the credit officer takes appropriate actions on collaboration with the Sales Representative.
• Update Risk files
• Manual weekly payments
• Do daily updates and control of customers' credit notifications via credit partners & take appropriate action
• Follow up and update of bank guarantees and third parties guarantees
• Follow up of VAT delegation
• Participate to Credit projects
• Update KPI's daily and Ageing balances monthly
• Back Up of other Credit Officer and the Credit Manager for the validation of credit limits for prospects and new contracts, daily prices, check credit notes, reimbursements, etc.

Profile of the Credit Officer :

• Master or Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, Management
• Strong written and spoken command of Dutch, French and English
• Detail-oriented, organized, Client-oriented, Analytical skills, Team spirit, Good sense of business and figures
• Acquainted with MS Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset
