Auditing Chapter Lead

In order to develop and manage operational support to Amfori's contracted auditing firms, scheme managers and auditors, we are currently looking to hire an Auditing Chapter Lead.

The main goal of this role is to provide Amfori's members with the possibility to conduct the due diligence for their supply chain and generate value for Amfori.

You will be in charge of the following:

  • You ensure that the contracted auditing partners deliver audits properly in order to offer quality services to members: manage the "Code of conduct" manual, manage contracts with the auditing firms, decide on partnership with auditing companies, manage relationships,…
  • You make sure tools are in place and work properly to ensure smooth handling of files by providing auditor's entry and accessibility of member's requests.
  • You ensure the follow-up of quality and conformity of the auditing processes and the auditors in order to better monitor risks.
  • You perform annual calibrations to meet requirements and define the topics to implement.
  • You work with auditing partners to increase global coverage and build capacity in order to offer more coverage for members and generate more revenue for amfori.
  • You evaluate and contribute to benchmarking and recognition of other due diligence
  • You motivate and train employees in order to improve their performance and contribute to their development.

  • You preferably have a master's degree or equivalent by experience.
  • You have at least ⚠ years' experience within (internal) Audit within international companies.
  • You have a relevant experience in building Audit Methodologies and processes.
  • You are communicative and like to manage a large scope of internal and external
  • You are organized, structured and are able to set the right priorities at the right time.
  • You do not need to have experience in the sustainability, human rights or environment sector. However, a demonstrated interest in this subject matter is mandatory – our work affects large numbers of workers in developing countries and must be approached with their needs as a priority.
  • You have a perfect knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
