Due to continuous expansion, we are looking for a colleague to reinforce our IT office based in office in Wilrijk (Antwerp).

In close cooperation with our analysts, internal developers and an external consulting company, you will build a modern data reporting platform in Microsoft’s Azure environment on top of proprietary databases (on-premise) in order to replace the current reporting solutions.

Your role

Together with the team you will address:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Fivetran to ensure efficient and reliable data ingestion and processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Develop and implement data models, schemas, and structures to support analytics and reporting needs.

Jouw profiel

Your profile

Technically, we are looking for a candidate with competences in the following areas:

• You have ⚠+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Proficiency in building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks and Fivetran.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Grafana.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• You are fluent in English. Any additional language is an advantage.
• You are reliable, well organized, and stress resistant;
• You work efficiently and are able to perform to a high level of quality and responsibility at all times;

• Technische beheerprocedures, gebruiks- en veiligheidsprocedures van de informatica infrastructuur opstellen
• Prestaties van het informatiesysteem analyseren
  Maatregelen voorstellen voor de verbetering van de kwaliteit, de veiligheid en de productiviteit
• Onderhoudsinterventies op gebruikersinfrastructuur van op afstand uitvoeren
• De configuratie en architectuur van de informatiesystemen opvolgen en bijwerken naargelang de ontwikkelingen
• De informatica-infrastructuur selecteren of installeren (software, hardware, ...)
• Toegangsrechten bepalen en opvolgen naargelang de karakteristieken van de gebruikers of de diensten
• Storingen, incidenten en onregelmatigheden identificeren
  Een diagnose stellen en corrigerende maatregelen toepassen
• De technische, economische, … informatie en de reglementering opvolgen en actualiseren
• Ontwikkelingsteams, informaticaproductieteams of gebruikers adviseren en bijstaan bij de keuze en toepassing van technische oplossingen
• Toekennen en ter beschikking stellen van software en netwerkinfrastructuur (toewijzing, nieuwe toewijzing)
• Scripts opstellen of integreren
