For our client, an expert in energy markets, we are looking for a Financial Analist in Energy Billing with or without specific experience, with flexible remote/hybrid working options!

Tell me more about it!

You will be part of an international Financial Controlling team and become an expert in financial controlling of energy data. Your clients will rely on your analyses in their decision-making with the aim of spending less money on energy.

What exactly will you do?

• You will have your own portfolio of international clients and will check validity of invoices, monitoring spend vs. budget, evolution of energy consumption, capacity/tariff optimization, etc.
• You will be working closely with consultants to provide the highest quality of service to our clients,
• You will be responsible for setting up and updating energy budgets for our clients,
• You will follow up on different energy price parameters in different countries
• You will be responsible for developing and preparing various energy data reports for our clients.

• Analytical & Synthetic: Proficiency in analysing and synthesizing data for clients and colleagues.
• Flexibility & Time Management: Ability to multitask and maintain a structured overview of priorities and deadlines.
• Independence: Taking initiative and working independently to set and achieve goals (don't worry, we still give you lot of support!)
• Resilience: Thriving in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry.
• Transparency: Readiness to share your strengths but also your struggles with us, be open and critical
• Number crunching: it's your thing although you do not shy away from occasionally accompanying ⚠ of our consultants into a client meeting to help present the budget forecasting

Other requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accountancy, energy, or a related field.
• Experience with making complex analysis and data lineage
• C⚠ level in English and proficient level of Dutch
• Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally for team events, and training.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

• Technische ondersteuning verlenen aan makelaars, traders, penningmeesters, ... bij geschillen of bemiddeling
• Verwachtingsmodellen opstellen voor de organisatie, het herstructureringsproject of het bestudeerde financieel product
• Financiële mathematische modellen uitwerken voor beurshandelaars en integreren in het informatiesysteem
