Functie

• Together with Cédric, you will be responsible for organising internal and external training courses. He will take you under his wing and fully train you in the practical and theoretical matters of aerial work platforms, forklifts and telehandlers.
• Training:
• Provide training (theoretical and practical) both to internal and external parties
• Administrative tasks before and after the training (attendance lists, exams, certificates, training declaration)
• If there is less training work, you will perform support tasks for an effective prevention policy. For example:
• Unannounced site visits to evaluate our depot technicians
• Safety tours in the depots with new employees, as well as check compliance with safety rules
• Addressing safety topics during toolbox meetings with the various depot managers

Jouw profiel

• With your combination of technical expertise and social skills, you are the ideal candidate to lead safety training sessions. You must have a strong command of Dutch and French, as these will be the languages used during instruction (English proficiency is a bonus). Although you will be based in Waregem or Strépy offices, you should be comfortable with frequent travel to other locations. A Bachelor's degree and the ability to interpret regulations and laws are required, as is a willingness to stand up for what is right when faced with black-and-white situations. Above all, a commitment to self-improvement is crucial, and you should be open to taking on different tasks and pursuing training opportunities, including prevention level 3.

Aanbod

• We are committed to training you internally. Among other things, you will get to know the different machines.
• We are happy to discuss the salary personally. You can already count on the following fringe benefits: meal vouchers of 8 euros per day worked, eco vouchers (250 euros/year), hospitalisation insurance with the possibility to connect your family and car incl. a fuel card.

• No collective leave. In consultation with colleagues and manager, you can plan your holiday according to your needs.
• You work a fixed schedule from 08:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:15 from Monday to Thursday in different depots (Waregem, Strépy, Flémalle and Aubange). On Fridays, the working day ends as early as 15:00.
• You work a 39-hour week, which means that, on top of 20 legal vacations and ten public holidays, you are entitled to 6 additional paid ADV days.
