AP Accountant in legal firm

Are you looking to work in a renown international company? Are you the AP Accountant our client is looking for? Our client, an international law firm, is looking for an AP Accountant. You will be joining a team of 20 people in accounting, and you will be working in the centre of Brussels.

As an AP Accountant, you will help manage the following tasks:

• Book all vendor invoices and expense claims and ask the necessary approvals in accordance with authorization and approval policies. Follow up on invoices not approved.
• You collect the receipts to book the Visa statements.
• Plan the work in line with the different deadlines.
• Follow up on supplier reminders.
• Follow up and clean all open items suppliers.
• Analyse the aging of suppliers and take action to pay the invoices in time.
• Write and maintain process documentation.
• Perform all activities in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Seeking opportunities for process improvements and applying improvements. Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Finance.
• Supporting colleagues on daily tasks and their own development.
• Ensuring all relevant firm's standards and guidelines are met.

As an AP Accountant, you have the following profile:

• A bachelor's degree in business management or accountancy
• A first experience in AP accounting, preferably in an international environment
• Have an advanced Excel knowledge.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• A very good level of English, Dutch and/or French, spoken and written.
