Finance Manager

We are actively looking for a Finance Manager for one of our clients active in the construction industry and located in East Flanders.

This family company was created 70 years ago. Our client's objective? Ensure the improvement and remodeling of existing infrastructure with the aim of improving road networks. This SME company has developed and rapidly became the preferred partner of the Flemish government when it comes to construction projects.

To improve financial management and strategy, the CEO has decided it was time for him to recruit its first Finance Manager. Your position will allow you to have a direct impact and saying on all financial decisions while becoming the financial advisor of the Manager.

You will also play a huge role in the improvement and implementation of existing and new procedures and tools.

The function will be tailored-made to your previous experiences, potential and ambitions and will involve the following responsibilities:

• Implementation and follow-up of budget and forecasts
• Establishment and follow-up of KPIs
• Draft and present financial reporting
• Preparation of Ad hoc analysis
• Preparation of financing files & administrative follow-up and contractual documents
• First point of contact for all internal and external partners
• Financial validation and monitoring of decisions and new projects
• Project management: automation of procedures and implementation of a new ERP

• At least 5 years of experience as Financial/Business Controller
• You speak Dutch fluently
• You are passionate about IT and process improvement
• You are motivated and implicated at work
• You are autonomous and perfectly able to face the responsibility of a Finance Manager by yourself
• You are assertive and communicative, which allows you to easily create relations and to be convincing
