Senior Accountant

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our client active in the automotive industry and located in the Flemish Brabant.

Our client is actively looking for a challenge-driven GL Accountant. You will become the right-hand of the Accounting Manager and you will be responsible for the general and analytical accounting whilst being in charge of the process' harmonization and automation.

• Management of all fiscal matters and obligations for legal entities
• Ensure monthly reporting
• Calculate and process the accrual in BE GAAP & IFRS
• Responsible for monthly closing
• Perform account reconciliation
• Follow up and actions on outstanding aged debt and receivable
• Analyze, review and deal with issues regarding income & cost matters
• Projects: optimize and harmonize analytical accountancy, be in charge of the ERP migration process, …

• Bachelor degree in accounting
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
• You speak Dutch and/or French and have a good knowledge of English
• Analytical and proactive, you are critical and find solutions to every problem
• You are adaptable and able to work in a fast-changing and challenging environment
• You are known for being communicative and persuasive which allows you to easily work with other people and inspire them
