  • Strategic Financial Partner : Foster strong relationships with Group companies, providing precise analysis and recommendations to drive success. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align financial strategies with business objectives, ensuring sustained growth and profitability.

  • Comprehensive Reporting: Deliver detailed monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to Board, Management, and external stakeholders. Provide insights that inform strategic decisions, empowering stakeholders with actionable data for effective governance and performance management.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the development of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and market trends. Utilize data-driven analysis to support decision-making and optimize resource allocation, driving financial sustainability and growth.

  • Enhanced Internal Reporting: Improve internal reporting processes to gain deeper insights into performance drivers and enhance decision-making. Implement innovative reporting methodologies and analytical tools to provide actionable insights for operational excellence and strategic planning.

  • Financial Operations Oversight: Monitor and oversee all accounting operations conducted by external service partners to ensure compliance and accuracy. Mitigate risks associated with external partnerships, safeguarding the integrity of financial data and operations.

  • Audit Management: Manage the annual audit process, ensuring timely delivery of information and a smooth audit experience. Prepare thoroughly and demonstrate commitment to transparency and accountability, instilling confidence in auditors and stakeholders alike.

  • Financial Controls and Governance: Strengthen financial controls and governance framework, documenting internal policies and procedures. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices, mitigating risks and enhancing financial integrity.

  • M&A Support: Play a crucial role in financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, from screening to integration. Provide financial expertise to support decision-making, negotiation, and post-acquisition integration, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Treasury Management: Optimize treasury activities within the Group, ensuring sufficient liquidity and effective risk management. Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and implement hedging strategies to support financial stability and long-term growth.

  • Banking Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the Group's daily banking needs, maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions. Proactively communicate and negotiate banking arrangements to maximize value and meet financial requirements.

Jouw profiel

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience, navigating through a variety of progressively challenging roles that have sharpened your skills and deepened your understanding of financial intricacies.
  • Harness your expertise with a robust understanding and extensive hands-on experience with the Belgian GAAP, ensuring mastery of the nuances and complexities of financial regulations in the Belgian context.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering annual audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to meeting timelines, ensuring the highest level of financial integrity
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple entities, stakeholders, and consolidation requirements, driving alignment and efficiency
  • Fluent in Dutch, complemented with the ability to understand and speak French and English. This enables effective communication across diverse teams and regions
  • Het budget voor de liquiditeiten opstellen volgens de boekhoudkundige en financiële gegevens van de organisatie en de historiek van haar activiteiten
  • De financieringsbehoeften of financiële mogelijkheden van de organisatie bepalen en aangepaste acties uitvoeren (kredietlijn, investering, ...)
  • Het saldo van de liquiditeiten opvolgen en er de boekhoudkundige verwerking van controleren
  • Procedures voor het liquiditeitenbeheer opstellen en toepassen en de boekhoudkundige procedures controleren
  • De financiële kwetsbaarheid van de organisatie opsporen en aanbevelingen doen aan het beheer
  • Een kredietbeleid voor de klanten opstellen en uitvoeren (solvabiliteitscontrole, garanties, uitstaande bedragen, ...)
  • De in- en uitgaande financiële stromen van de organisatie evalueren en de verwerkings- en beveiligingsprocedures bepalen
  • De liquiditeiten ramen rekening houdend met financiële schuldratio's, solvabiliteitsratio's, het werkkapitaal, ...
