For one of the Big 10 firms, we are actively seeking a consolidation expert: IFRS and Belgian GAAP.

You will handle the entire process from A to Z while receiving support from your team.

• IFRS Consolidation will serve as the primary contact for national and international clients.
• Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial reporting process, you'll maintain the consolidation tool.
• You'll prepare both internal and external financial reports, including interim and annual statements compliant with Belgian GAAP and IFRS.
• Your responsibilities include conducting monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly consolidation processes to deliver consolidated figures promptly and in adherence to Group policies and legal standards.
• You'll provide guidance, support, and assistance to local finance teams regarding specific consolidation matters and IFRS restatements.
• Operating autonomously, you tackle assignments independently, with opportunities to handle increasingly complex cases.
• Collaboration with team members and colleagues from other service lines is integral to your daily work.
• You will contribute to the growth of the Business Process Solutions (BPS) practice in our Brussels office.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to consolidation, whether in an internal capacity or as an external service provider.
• Knowledge in IFRS & BE GAAP.
• Fluency in French and Dutch, coupled with a good command of English, is essential.
• Your background : accounting, complemented by a proficiency in IT.
• Exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities are a must, along with the capacity to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• As an enthusiastic and adaptable team player, you thrive in collaborative environments.
• Your approach is handson and results-oriented, underscored by a keen attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
