Group Tax Manager


La Lorraine Bakery Group (LLBG) is a 100% Belgian family-owned company with more than 80 years of experience in the milling and bakery sector.
As Group Tax Manager you manage the tax affairs of La Lorraine Bakery Group.
You ensure compliance with legislation and regulations and provide strategic advice to the business.
You bring vision and structure to have a real impact on our future tax landscape.

You are part of the Corporate Finance department in Ninove. Limited occasional travel is part of the job.
You report to the Group Accounting Director.

Your function

  • You supervise the tax affairs of the company, including corporate tax, DTA, VAT and other indirect taxes.
  • You provide strategic tax advice to the business and other departments, such as accounting, controlling, legal and the tax responsibilities in all subsidiaries, to ensure that tax issues are identified and addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • You prepare and organize the group tax practice for Pillar 2.
  • You review, update and safeguard the Group's Transfer Pricing Policy and ensure the necessary compliance requirements in all tax jurisdictions.
  • You identify and monitor the tax incentives and other potential grants throughout the entire Group.
  • You implement systems and processes to monitor and mitigate identified taxation risks.
  • You represent the company in discussions with tax authorities, external advisors and other (external) stakeholders.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in an economic domain and at least 7 years of experience in tax, preferably in a managerial position and international environment.
  • You have a strong technical knowledge of tax legislation and regulations, such as corporate tax, DTA, VAT and other indirect taxes.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are a problem-solver.
  • You are able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • You have a strong attention to detail.
  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
