With around 1,000 employees, the Central Information Technology department supports the entire Bundesbank in its diverse tasks, e.g. in the form of supporting numerous applications from construction and facility management, which are made available to all business areas of the Bundesbank. We are currently looking for two IT Application Managers in this area.

Work of special value: your assignment with us

  • As a member of our team, you will support and coordinate the technical integration of various applications as an on-premise or SaaS solution as well as application-specific hardware from various specialist areas, such as construction and facility management, compliance and the Bundesbank's University of Applied Sciences
  • You advise the specialist department and coordinate new requirements with them, support them with market research in their search for suitable products, create technical concepts and support their implementation
  • You will also work closely with internal IT departments and external partner companies
  • You will also analyze faults and error messages in last-level support, which you will resolve or delegate to other support units
  • You contribute your knowledge and work as a full team member in day-to-day business and in exciting, interdisciplinary projects right from the start

Special values: Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in (business) informatics or equivalent educational qualification or comparable knowledge from many years of professional experience, preferably combined with completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist or system integrator)
  • Good knowledge and several years of experience in application management, i.e. comprehensive technical and organizational support of applications from different technology areas (e.g. web, client-server) as well as application-specific hardware
  • Good knowledge and several years of experience in incident, problem and change management as well as support
  • Good knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, firewalls and IT security
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills paired with a high degree of independence and commitment as well as service and customer orientation
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
