Housing Assistant

Functie

The incumbent manages over 100 residential properties, Operating / Capital Leases, and GO with a combined value of over $45 million. Has complete responsibility for a full range of properties, including one set of AMB/DCM residence, several dedicated and exec-level houses and a mix of properties in the Tri-Mission housing pool.

Acts as key contact for occupants of his/her units: establishes relationship beginning with briefing upon arrival. Provides employees information about their assigned quarters and instructs them on the duties and responsibilities of occupants of government-provided quarters. Maintains this contact by acting as primary source during employee's TOD for all matter relating to Housing. During check-in walkthrough, makes initial determination of what employee requests may be met by the U.S. Government and which are landlord responsibilities.

Manages residences of two or more senior-level officers. Incumbent is responsible for coordination residential requirements for several senior foreign affairs agency representatives. Deals directly with the occupants to address the full range of issues concerning maintenance, contractor problems, any difficulties with neighborhood issues.

Jouw profiel

EDUCATION: Completion of secondary school.

EXPERIENCE: Previous office experience required of minimum 3 years . Driver's license B.

LANGUAGE: Fluency in English. Fluency in French or Dutch. This may be tested.
