You will enter the software development and maintenance of communication software (middleware) for the area of cross-platform application communication in an agile development team. You will use technologies such as Eclipse, Jira, Confluence, GitLab, XL-Deploy, Maven).

Work of special value: your assignment with us

  • You will be involved in the maintenance and further development of an existing product landscape of software components based on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and z/OS (Unix System Services) system platforms for application communication
  • This mainly includes IBM middleware products, as well as Java software developed in-house, which is continuously developed in line with requirements (especially IT security)

Special values: Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in (business) computer science or comparable degree program with a focus on information technology or comparable knowledge from many years of professional experience
  • Knowledge and initial experience (with) the Java programming language
  • Knowledge of application communication technologies and products would be desirable
  • Team-oriented and proactive way of working with a willingness to develop as well as good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an agile team environment
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills

Remuneration based on the TVöD (depending on your experience, approx. €57,000 to €74,000), future-oriented job in the public sector with reliable working conditions, permanent employment contract, varied tasks, possibility to continue an existing civil servant relationship (up to A 11 gD), extensive further training opportunities
