Robert HalfTalent Solutions is currently looking for a Compliance Officer for a permanent position based in Halle.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the renewable energy sector.

As Compliance Officer you will be responsible for:

• Provide legal support to ensure overall compliance with respect to the broad legal & regulatory framework related to e-mobility, consumer and retail activities;
• Proactively identify the evolutions of the legal and regulatory framework applicable in the e-mobility sector (energy transition, EU energy package, new code of conducts, ...);
• Help our operating departments in applying regulatory compliance (incl. taxation) and continuous improvements;
• Write and review contacts, assist in contractual negotiations and litigation, when necessary, in direct contact with external lawyers;
• Participate in the strategic developments within the group (product development, new business or market, M&A implementations, major contractors follow up, ...);
• Supporting Public Affairs in informing/advising internal and external stakeholders.

The required profile for the Compliance Officer position:

• You have a master's degree in law;
• You have preferably 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably, but not necessarily within the energy sector and a corporate law environment;
• You are interested in public policy, energy markets and have a first experience with commercial contracts;
• You are solution-oriented, pro-active and pay attention to details;
• You have the ability to manage several things at the same time without losing oversight;
• You have good diplomatic and social skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders;
• You are challenged and motivated by working in a fast-changing environment;
• You are a team player and possess a high level of integrity;
• You have an analytical mindset;
• You have good social skills and can work efficiently in a team;
• You are flexible and willing to travel on an occasional basis;
• You are fluent in Dutch and you are capable of working and drafting in English.
