Context:

As manager of the Billing Operations team, you are a member of the Selling Ordering Billing (SOB) department within TEC. Your team is responsible for creating and delivering financial documents (bills, credit notes, etc.) and for the follow-up and daily management of the applications used for this purpose within V&G Team (Kenan, COB, BOL, CACS, RMCA, etc.).

Job content:

  • You are responsible for the daily supervision of your team and directly lead an extensive team of technical experts and administrators (internal and external).
  • You manage the planning and work content of the team members.
  • You are responsible for the correct follow-up of incidents and problems identified in the billing field, and for ensuring with your team and colleagues that these incidents are resolved within the agreed timeframe.
  • You are responsible for the operational coordination and follow-up of important incidents within the team.
  • You proactively participate in projects to ensure operational readiness.
  • You ensure compliance with service levels for internal and external customers. For this, you also follow up the performance and contractual SLAs of your main operational partners.
  • You maintain strong relations with our internal customers to improve customer satisfaction and gain an insight into their business SLAs.
  • In line with the V&G Team strategy, you determine the operational plans for your domain and ensure their implementation.


  • Preferably, you have a good knowledge of the billing process , as well as a good background in the operational management of applications.
  • You can build and maintain relations with your main partners.
  • You can communicate effectively with your team and partners in Dutch, French and English (both orally and in writing).
  • You have excellent leadership skills for managing and motivating a diverse team.
  • You are customer-focused, creative, stress-resistant and solution-oriented by nature.
  • You are flexible and can translate a vision into a concrete action plan.
  • You are a good people manager.
